feeler 2006 Z4MC 10K miles, Interlagos Blue
I was happily enjoying my Z4MC that I bought last year with 7500 miles on it from a seller in AZ and then. 1) zwest posted a chart to remind me that every mile I drive is directly related to the value of the car. Of course I knew that but the chart drove it home. 2) I hit 10K miles. So I decided that the only way to remove my driving guilt was to put a feeler out. I expect one of two things to happen. 1) Car will sell for $41k. 2) Car will not sell and I will go for a guilt free drive. I have been a lurker here for a few years. Not posting this to ebay, this is just for zpost. Car is 2006 Z4 M Coupe with 10K miles in Interlagos blue with the premium package wood dash, winter package heated seats, and a tan leather wrapped interior. It is the same color combination as the original bmw adds for the car. It is relatively stock but has Meistershaft Exhaust system = original mufflers come with the car. Stubby Antenna =original antenna comes with the car Clutch stop = original comes with the car No rain or snow driving. Stored in a temperature controlled environment. All services up to date. Flaws = road chip on front right panel, scratch on the front lower part of the bumper from a curb (not one you will see unless pointed out to you). I thought about posting more pics but as I said I have been a lurker for a long time and I think we all know the car (ok files were to big and I did not figure out how to fix that yet). If you are serious PM me but I am secretly hoping to end up keeping the car and report that $41k at 10k miles is not the magic number. Not taking anything less than $41K so if this shows up as sold you can use that as a bench mark. |

Ha ha 30 days later and no one had any interest so either
1)$41k is not the number at this time. 2) I am lousy at zposting 3) You all took pity on me and wanted me to drive guilt free. You lovely lovely people. So look for me on the roads of Northern Illinois (Bull Valley). Thanks all! |

If you want to preserve it, you need to park it in a barn.
You bought to enjoy, so forget about $ and drive that beauty

Keep it, drive when you want to drive, not for groceries lol. Now just isnt the time. It will definitely go up in the future though. Sure of it.

Man, what a beautiful example of the E86 M.. that said, they are made to be driven, parking this is akin to not having sex with your awesome looking girlfriend, because your saving her for her next boyfriend...

Driving it a few thousand miles a year wouldn't hurt the overall value of the car especially considering how big of a grin it'll bring to your face every single mile you drive it |
