Euro headers

I had these on for about 4 years. Have not been driving the car much in the last 2.

Passed Cali emissions 2 years ago, no issues. Now I have persistent error 29F5 but not CEL.

Resetting code means, another round of drive cycle etc...

Any thoughts? New O2 or Fuel delivery?

Code is for bank 2 CAT.
It will be either of, bank 2 O2 or the CAT itself.
Did you pull any other codes?

I had one primary O2 go bad at 32k miles, but I also had other O2 codes.

Do you also have Euro headers? If so what replacement length O2 did you get i.e. EU spec at ~1300mm or NA spec at ~1050mm

This is the one that pops up consistently. In one instance I had a EGT code, but when I cleared it nothing else came up

Maybe I replace the O2 and the plugs.

What are you using for cats and where did you place your O2 sensors?

Oh that's probably your problem. The North American cats in section 1 are very short so they don't do a very good job on their own. The Euro cats in section 1 use twice as much cat material. You could try to add a non-fouler to trick the O2 sensors.

Curious to this question as I may be looking at it as well.

NA specs are here

Similar parts can be found on lovely sites like this:
https://www.amazon.com/Bosch-15168-O...ype=automotive

I haven't looked for the others recently.

The NA ones work fine with the harness extended, although one is a little tighter than the other.
I'm using the original with no problem, but if I was to replace,
I would just get the longer NA one for both.

bTW when I replaced my primarys I used aftermarket, not OE.
They work fine.

Thanks! You cannot use the longer O2 sensors on both as the connectors are different (in case that is what you meant).

I'm replacing both O2 sensors and the EGT, then plugs and a fuel clean to see how it goes. fingers and toes crossed.
