Its possible, you'd either remove the shields or strip off the amber coating and run either blue glassed halogen bulbs or LEDs
You'd need something high powered to match the brightness of the factory halogen bulbs for the blinkers. They are 12v 21w bayonett bulbs which are very hard to beat in output with LEDs. The 12v 10w angel eye bayonett bulb I am still trying to find an LED that will be brighter then the factory bulb, so far no luck. Just tried the E90/E91 LED upgrade that has two high powered LEDs that are WAY brighter then any direct replacement bayonett LED bulb I've seen so far but still not bright enough. I think as Tekarbon has found out, CCFL is the only way to go for the angel eyes. |

Are you guaranteeing the lights for a set amount of time in case something goes wrong?

It's funny, cuz I think no one this board believes that I will ever actually make some mods to the car...
I make a decent amount of money, problem is that living in the city is much more expensive than I'm used to...the changes will come in time.

Dang!!!! I started to do my own AE installation a few days ago already too.... lol could've probable saved myself some time if I waited for this thread. I got HL's with ambers, ordered 2 diff HL's with clears on eBay. Had to cut off my old HL covers (clear one) due to damage and remove the ones off eBay cause they're not damaged, swaping out amber indicator lens with white ones and black housing with silver ones, bought CCFL's just need to put it on and asemble. oh well... next Z i guess lol
