Finally All mods are in....
I got everything installed, euro headers plus RPI....holy crap.
red poly mounts from /uuc a little on the harsh side but not too bad....SSK from Ronald.....perfection. All though I still want a short throw... also i decided against the jb racing fw and clutch package.... i went with a stock flywheel and clutch overhaul. |

I love every aspect about the headers and rpi set up....next is the x pipe...i want more rasp and bite....the backfire burple and popping is siiiiiick.
the red polymounts from uuc vibrate like a mofo on start up especially on cold start. feels almost like a big muscle car...but once shes all warmed up its Very smooth and tight. Car feels like a bullet. cant wait to do brakes and suspension |

first I got my euro headers from Starscream...win.
then i got them jet hot coated 1700 degree coating on the inside and 2000 degree on the outside. the inside coating is dual functional....it smooths the inner surface creating an excellent flow pattern within the chambers of the header piping which fits perfectly stock. I had them installed with oem header gasket and bolt kit from BMW....at that time I had the red motor mounts made of polyurethane from UUC they are harsh yes but when wringing out that raspy s54 they hold down the beast to the frame.....pure rigid control. Now for the good part: I found out somebody had a crashed z4 mcoupe and was parting it out...right here in NY.... even better the section one pipe I was looking for was ALL ready welded in the modified locations to relocate the O2 sensors and EGT monitor ....ur damn right I coughed up the cash no question... It all goes in on tuesday.... I will post vids soon Point is my stock section one that will be comming out on tuesday will be up for sale.....in fact its for sale right now... the price is now 500 firm and will go to the first person who pays. Buyer will have section one pipe mailed or ready for pick up by tuesday afternoon. These will not come welded and the buyer will have to do it him/her self. I personally optioned to go this route because it yeilds the exact same power that catted ss pipes do but fit perfectly stock and even appear to be stock. Plus there is no tune needed as the relocation itself makes the ECU very happy and most importantly no engine light as all sensors and monitors are 100%.... Pictures of the primary and secondary O2s as well as the EGT bung location would be really cool.
