When I had my custom exhaust built, we started up my car without any mufflers at all. Needless to say, my ears were ringing after he revved it a few times. RPi's probably aren't as loud but I imagine they are loud enough.

Save yourself the $900 and just delete them. Although I would be concerned about loss of power with no back pressure...

i spoke to my friends, they said you wont have loss of power, but id like to have some gains...

i might do the Rpi cause id like to have more power and they seem like the nicest and loudest sounding exhaust for our M's, but im not a huge fan of the tips.

Most people either love them or hate them. I personally think they look cool, especially when painted flat black.

Muffler delete is louder, but has less drone. The RPI mufflers are more quiet for those outside of the car but boomier from the cockpit.

I have cutouts in the midpipes of my car, so it's loud inside and out. Hahah.

check my thread on the muffler delete. track test numbers don't lie. There's enough BP from the 4 cats we run, but if I was to invest in a muffler it would be the rpi

btw: does anyone have internal canister shots of the rpi?
