Z4 ///M Steering Wheel

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
None

Item Interest
Up for sale is my Z4 M Steering Wheel.

I have included pics of many angles to show that the wheel leather and stitching are like new condition showing little sign of use. The leather is still soft and supple. The stitching is still clean and vibrant. The leather was taken care of using Leatherique ”Pristine Clean” and “Rejuvenator” every 6 months

I am looking to get $275+ Pay Pal and shipping

Thank you for your interest. If you have any questions, let me know.

Do you have the other spoke covers or is it just the bottom one?

I do have the multifuntion buttons and spoke covers. The finish has started to peel on the front side of those spoke covers and buttons; The back sides are still in good shape.

This is why I wear gloves becasue the ph levels found in our hands wear away at these finishes over time. Now I feel good about wearing gloves

Yep, glove are always a good idea. The leather/stitching still look brand new, but once you get one nick in that black rubbery finish on the spokes its all over

Curious as well. I've never swapped a wheel before and would like to keep the airbag.

Actually assumed I'd be losing the airbag...

I wanted something with a similar diameter, but with a flat bottom to make getting in and out a little easier since installing fixed back seats.

I was trying to decide between the Momo Mod 88 and the Sparco Ring. My wife surprised me with the Ring for Christmas

Turns out she chose the Ring because it was the same brand as my seats

I bet you wish you could feel that brand new leather with your hands...

And nothing is going to peel unless you wear lotion all day like a lady.

Im a medical student and I am almost qualified to tell you that unless you wear gloves your leather steering wheels are all f^&cked. Somewhere between the Ph levels our sweat glands give off and the epithelial tissue we shed constantly, we are always damaging the supple nappa leather. :-)

But once in awhile i grab it just to remember how it feels like and then I quickly wipe the previously gripped area to dry it off.

I work with my hands so much I don't even have fingerprints anymore....let alone moisture at the surface level, lol. Its the ultimate exfoliating system.
