I have the RPI skid plates that are essentially only 2mm~3mm thick, and after a couple of months they were already badly scraped.

Of course you can say your lip is designed for a stock Z4M. But my question is - why limit your own market? It simply doesn't need to be that thick. What I'm saying is even a stock Z4M is gonna have scraping issues with that lip.
I disagree, its all about the approach angle. Since this doesn't protrude out too far, I don't think it will be too bad

Is it painted? Is black the only color?

How does it mount to the bumper?

It's nice to see a diversity of products for our cars to suit the different tastes of everyone.
It doesn't suit my taste, but I'm happy to see that it works for others.

Yep, Fiberglass Mstache and Carbon Fiber Mstache.

The production fiberglass Mstache will have a black gel coat finish that can be left as is or can be painted.

It mounts with double side tape and a few screws. I'll check to see if the factory screws and screw holes can be used. No bumper removal necessary, very simple install.

Not yet, a few seem pretty interested so working on those. I really am clinging to it though, LOL. It will be very hard to let it go without having the M Roadster to instantly make me feel better.

I'd be interested in a CF one, subject to seeing the quality of the construction, as CF can vary a lot.

Are there any plans to make one that extends down any less than 5/8"?

I am thinking ahead to the dreaded winter, where every 1/10 of an inch counts.
