ZHP knob vs E82 Performance Knob
I currently have the ZHP knob but recently found this online, does anyone else have this? Nothing wrong with the ZHP knob, but just looking to change things up. Wanted to know if it's also weighted and shorter like the ZHP knob. Plus I think it'd look good with my silver trim color scheme. Part number:25 11 0 429 269

My buddy has that in his 330i. I have the ZHP knob. I haven't used it but I did try it on my car once. It is shorter than the ZHP. Maybe I'll swap with him for a week and give it a try.

trust me you don't want a real aluminum shift knob, its just going to burn your hand in the summer and freeze it in the winter.

It doesn't get that hot or that cold, plus, you're hand is only on it for a second or two.

Look into the whalen shift machine, or UUC I believe makes a heavier knob.

TWM now makes an adapter for their shift knobs to fit all bmws. So its another option we can add to the list.
Weights start at about 400g. Some knobs I had this in my last car loved it, will probably get another one.

Pictures of mine
not in the car yet, Just got it yesterday.
The pictures suck, they are polished aluminum almost chrome and it have a clear coat finish that prevent it of fading |

BTW: I'm referring to the big ole round shift knob in the picture. Looks like something you would put in a Honda Civic.

I really did like the one i used to have. The gun metal finish is pretty special looking.
