Congrats on your ride and enjoy the drive home! As far as your gaps are concerned... I'm hoping the car hasn't been in an accident. The rear quarter panel and bumper are off spec, as well as the driver side front bumper attached to the front quarter panel. |

Yeah, I just noticed that after looking at the pics, too. Funny thing is it doesn't look nearly as noticeable in real life, but there is a gap. I checked the paint thickness on all sections of the car before purchasing, and there is 0 color difference between the bumper and anything it touches, so I'm confident it was never repainted. Most likely won't be a rough fix. And honestly, if that is the biggest issue with the car, I consider myself to be pretty lucky. Just got home and spent an hour and a half washing and detailing her, looks pretty damn good. Hopefully I'll see another M at the car show tomorrow. |

I was lucky enough to stay in a room that overlooked the valet lot. I did the exact same thing! Congrats to OP, you won't regret your purchase!

I only was able to get about 6 hours sleep as it was, but it definitely ended up being less from checking on it a few times throughout.

No_Dominion,
I have thought about your story several times since my earlier post. I have so much enjoyed my SI since I bought in 11/2010 and as mentioned by others, I too glance back when I walk away from it. I have always been content with my SI but nothing has made me think of owning an M more than you. I am divorced with kids and a financial fug-up so I know deep-down that an M is out of the question. However, now I wonder how long common sense will hold out. Your story has truly touched me heart.
