Cover for water pump threads?

I was just replacing my belts and constant pressure valve and I noticed the threads on the water pump, where fan/fan clutch would mount, are left exposed and mine are rusty!

Does anyone make a cover for it that I could screw on?

If nothing goes on these threads, it should not be a concern. I've never seen anything on these threads and I would be concerned that a "cover" might come off and interfere with the accessories, causing a problem. I wouldn't worry about it.

I also bought one for doing the valve adjustment, only I found that the 32mm open-end wrench was too big, so I took the cover with me to Sears and found that 30mm fit perfectly.
