The lack of a single quality pic (and only one) and dramatically overpriced nature of the posting point in that direction. A typical part out has more pics, and so have lower priced Z offerings. (Some with great photos.)

So either it's a troll post or there's a large disconnect in terms of fair market value. Either way it's hard to take it seriously.

Anyone consider maybe he isn't asking for USD? Maybe he wants $50k in Bulgarian Lev, that comes out to about $27,576 USD.

Joking aside. OP, no one is going to seriously consider a car with only one photo posted. You need to have a whole gallery of at least 20 photos (but you should aim for 50) for someone to even take the time to consider buying a car. Go look on ebay right now and get an idea for what people take pictures of and notice if you even show interest in a car that only has a couple low-res photos. You need photos from every angle of the car, tire tread and shots of the wheel face for all 4 wheels, interior photos of every control cluster, detail shots of the seats to show wear, the steering wheel, behind the seats, the headliner, the trunk, any manuals that are with the car, the odometer, the engine, the glove box, the center console storage, under the car if possible, any issues with the paint or body work (dings, dents, scratches), door jams, show all the lights work, the exhaust, etc.

You can never have too many photos when you are trying to sell the car online, but you can, and currently do, not have enough photos. Your car is rare, but trust me as someone who tried to sell an even rarer model (1 of 1 by VIN), these aren't cars that can be inflated to the price you are asking by rarity as they are rare already and are not in high demand overall.

You haters told me I was wrong last year about $40,000 and great examples are selling above 40,000 now. The only reason you negative people under value the prices of these cars is because their cars are molested, beaten on, and have a scratchs on the outside and inside. And no one wants to pay a premium for a dirty hore but on the other hand "a queen" will be very valued and sought after.

Can you please show us an example of comparable cars that have actually sold for 40k+?

The only time I've even seen an MCoupe listed for more than 40k is from Enthusiast Auto.

You might actually have a pristine car but your for sale add does not lead anyone to believe or provide any evidence of that.

Haters? Come on, this is one of the most reasonable and non-hater forums around. We're being realistic about price and have offered suggestions to strengthen the post.

Here are the facts that make us question the seriousness of the post and ultra-premium pricing.

One terrible picture of said unmolested totally perfect car with no scratches or defects. Buyer is to take take on faith only. No addition pics though promised.

Asking price is almost 10k over what the high-price specialist dealer (Enthusiast) that does a full refresh and only sells immaculate and fully documented cars is asking.

Here's an example of what, at minimum, is required for a higher priced ask. It has over 100 detailed pictures, well under 10k miles, and full documentation. http://enthusiastauto.com/qsearch/?i...1#.VTJ9Ll-CPCQ" rel="" target="_blank">http://<a href="http://enthusiastaut...TJ9Ll-CPCQ</a>

Could you "ask" this or more with a rarer color interior? Sure. But the mileage pretty much negates that advantage and Enthusiast has a reputation that supports prices.

Bottom line, you've got to do the work to try and sell at higher prices and have the support around that. If the work, pics, and documentation did that you'd see a different response. The objective is to sell the car, if you're not getting the response you want change the sales tactics.

Suggestion: why not contact Enthusiast and see what they'll offer you for your car? If it's as you say, they might want the car. You won't get 49k but you might get a good and reasonable offer from a group that exclusively offers the kind of car you claim to have. People looking for and wanting to pay a premium for quality go looking for cars at Enthusiast. The target market you're after comes to them--that's not something that's easy to achieve in trying to sell a niche car.

Hilarious thread.

I dropped 24K cash for a fully documented 2007 roadster 2 years ago with 50K miles. Your asking price with whatever options or numbers you feel are important (impotent in your case) is mute. You will not sell this car for your asking astronomical price or even for whatever you feel is fair - there is no market. My amigos here in Austin could not sell their 1 of 7 in the world coupe option combos for more than 30K with even slightly higher mileage. Go troll some other website or see what Carmax would offer you. Why do moderators even tolerate this level of BS? It's like the crap you expect to see on Craigslist, not on Zpost.

Sir, I love (and commend) your thought process. If every one of us Z4M guys value our cars as such, we'll all be better off.

Not trying to instigate this further but if you tried for $40k last year and were told it was too high and you did not sell it, then by my logic the commenters at that time were correct. Just saying...

Anyways GLWS and perhaps ad some more pics of your car; interior, exterior, rims, engine bay etc... Any history you can provide and maintenance done will also go a long way helping you to generate interest.

Ignore the haters. Price your vehicle at what you'd sell it for. Hopefully you find a buyer and, if not, feel free to adjust your price if you want to.

But don't worry about what other people (who aren't buying your car) have to say.

GLWS.

That's a hell of a car but a dreamers price. I bought a 2006 Z4M for $26k in 2011 with only about 7k more in mileage. And yes i know the Z4M coupe is rarer entity but at $50k a buyer can get any number of options to include a 2014 Cayman base (used) or Boxster or even the newer model Z4's. Maybe for a collector and if it had like <2000 miles on it but your price seems crazy high?

Half-serious question for the OP - in 2-3 years are you going to be asking $60,000 for this car with 20k miles?

And will you start your thread with the EXACT SAME fuzzy phone pic that you used on this thread.....and the thread you started in July of 2012 when you were asking $40k?

Completely serious question time for the OP:
Are you honestly trying to sell this car?

Oh my god he's actually trying to sell the car. I thought for sure he was just trolling.

Or maybe he's taking the trolling to a whole new level.

I'm not sure. Somebody actually trying to SELL the car wouldn't have had the car more or less on the market since at least July of 2012 with a fantasy asking price. And be INCREASING the price as time goes by.

I think he's just fixated on the whole rarity and low-mileage thing and has (IMO) a slightly unrealistic idea of what the car is worth.

I know that for a while (in 2013?) he also had the car listed on Ebay. It seems to have 'failed to reach the reserve'. Yeah. No kidding.

Well, to be honest, I don't.

Looking to buy a Z4MC is a year or so once I no longer need 4 seats. Unless everybody is asking ridonkulous money for them in which case I'll be looking at a Cayman S instead. I could buy one HELL of a nice used CS for $50k.

I have no idea if this makes me a hater or not. Don't care. Whatever I buy will be driven, not parked.

Ill trade you interiors bro, I also have red, but I want perfect interior which I think you have. Mine is like new so I'm sure your buyer wouldn't be able to tell the difference. Since you're selling your car, I dont think you'll care if the interior isn't "perfect".
