CDV Delete on 2007, Remove or Replace with?

Hello, I'm going to do a bunch of maintenance soon and will probably delete the CDV. On my e90 with the same engine and transmission I just removed the CDV and simply reconnected the lines, I think it was mostly a plastic unit. There was no need to replace it with anything or drill it out. On the 5 speed Z4s I think it's a metal unit that needs to be replaced or drilled because the lines won't simply reconnect, but for the 6 speed cars, like my 2007 model, can you simply pull it out and reconnect or should I have a modified valve ready to go in. I plan to motive power bleed everything afterwards. Thanks,

I have the 06 3.0i N52 with the 6 speed. On mine, I just removed the valve (which was metal I think), and reconnected the lines. No attachments were needed.

You will need to bleed the clutch afterwards, I believe.
