My Arqray cans are pretty dang drone free - rest of system is stock. It's a straight through design, one inlet that splits into two within the muffler before exiting to the tips. I've got euro headers sitting here, need to get them on, little worried that change may bring on some drone...I hate the drone.... Too bad an Arqray car couldn't be there - got a pretty good sound to it, not too loud with the rest stock. Being straight through though, freeing up the rest of the exhaust will probably make it pretty noisy. We'll see....

Finnegan! You're telling there's a whole Fest for Exhuasts now? haha

Thanks for compiling all of this data. (and all that helped you) Being in the market for exhaust but not really knowing one way or another without hearing them all in person is difficult. Thanks!!

We're thinking of one just for lights now!

Videos should be available soon, that plus the dB and other information should help.

As for which exhausts drone the least, I've heard that SuperSprint, Remus, and Eisenmann are the best, but also some of the most costly. MRZ07 has a Remus setup on his Roadster so you might want to try and meet up with him to see how you like it.

Also, I hear that a universal Magnaflow system with CC Inserts (Car Chemistry Shop) in the pipes is a cost effective and nearly drone free solution, as well as the Aero Turbine resonator system. Both of those can be had, installed for probably less than $500.

Was there a certain system that you liked the sound of during the 'Fest?
I have the magnaflow setup you are referring to and it is relatively drone free, sounds great, and isnt overly loud. Perfect for daily driving

I watched the whole video and after a while, they all sound great and it becomes a blur. I think I was too busy looking at the cars.

Hahah...surprising that some people like my generic setup the best.

Personally, I think Mfanatic325's system was the hands down winner...

Finnegan, are we still going to be able to add our comments in a section about our opinions on the systems? For example, I feel like the rasp was way more pronounced on the videos, as the cars got further from the mic, of course the mic didn't pick up the bass and the rasp became super apparent. I don't remember hearing that much rasp during the actual runs and I was surprised to hear that much on the videos.

Oh, and listening to the video on a nice set of headphones or a nice system makes all the difference in the world. Systems sound ok on my laptop speakers, but throw my nice over ear headphones on and the video has a whole new dimension to it...also watching it in 720p.

Now excuse me while I spend another 11 minutes watching this awesome video.

IMHO aftermarket headers really effect the sound of all exhaust buy a large margin.
