Floβmann BMW Group Buy
Hello Everyone,
It’s that time of year again and back by popular demand is Chicane Motorsport’s 2nd annual Floβmann composites group buy for ALL applicable BMW models. If you are not familiar, Floβmann is a European race bread composites manufacturer that has been making fiberglass and carbon fiber body panels for a wide range of BMW automobiles. These pieces are strong, lightweight and come with oe like fitment.
Similar to last year, we will be offering two discount tiers. 10% off once 10 pieces have been confirmed and 15% off for anything over 15 pieces. We say pieces because this group buy is not limited to one generation or BMW model. Below is a link to Floβmann’s website, if you can find it there then it will be included in this group buy. Please message us and we will update and add products to the price list upon request. The e46 prices listed below are due to they are the most desirable pieces of the Floβmann line.

HOW IT WORKS:
• This is for the ConUS Only
• 20% deposit required to hold group buy spot
• Group buy will end on March 31st
• Remaining payment will be required within 48 hours of group buy closure
• Once all remaining payments have been received orders will be placed
• 4-6 week build time on all parts
• Parts will be shipped to Chicane Motorsport, inspected and then shipped to end user
• 1 week for shipment **Shipments will be completed using a major carrier and will be insured**
DISCLAIMER:
• If a group buy participant wants to back out after either their deposit or final payment has been received then they have two choices. In the case it is after the deposit being received they can pass their spot onto another participant or assume the 20% as a non-refundable deposit. If it is after the final payment being received they can either pass their spot onto another participant or pay a 15% restocking fee.
• These parts were designed and intended for race cars and because of that overall finish is not 10/10. These parts will need some work by a body shop to get the exterior finish 100% perfect so please factor that in. You will find here pictures of non-painted and painted pieces on our shop e46 M3 for reference.
• On the M3-R fenders, the louvers over the wheel arch will need to be cut out by the end customer.
• On all hoods, the front kidney grills will need to be glued/epoxied in most cases.
• All parts come in primer, Floβmann does not offer exposed carbon fiber except for on their vented hood slats.

What sort of discount or total price are they quoting for the CF roof, 10%? The website lists it at € 700.

FWIW..

These are basically single skin shells.
They require additional support and fabrication (body shop) to work.
Also, the cf is not necessarily perfectly layed up, as the panels are often painted

Here is comments from a very reputable shop

Flossmann Quality
I've installed several Flossmann E46 M3 CSL Trunks, a couple front splitters, and a couple wings. Fitment on all of them was pretty much spot on, better than the other common aftermarket carbon fiber parts. So from a fitment stand point, awesome.

The quality of the carbon fiber is insanely high. Very strong, with proper tensile flex. The carbon is so light as well without sacrificing wall thickness and structural integrity.

Visually though, I think is where the Flossmann stuff lacks the most. If you were looking for a bare carbon fiber part, the stuff I got for the E46 M3 were designed to be painted, so they came with a thin primer-esque layer. Flossmann uses a high quality primer so that the carbon weave does not show through paint/clearcoat.
