2007 Z4 M Coupe
Putting out feelers on an asking price for an Imola red on red 2007 Z4 M Coupe with under 4000 miles. Thoughts on asking price?

Then too, that '58 Chevrolet pickup is a 4wd NAPCO conversion...a somewhat rare bird.

Nope.... It only sold for $55k new....
NADA.com estimate $32,500 for clean retail sale price(which allows an extra $8,500 for the low mileage). I think that is a bit low as some will pay crazy prices for like new cars. My 06 MR with 20k prices out at $22k private party on NADA. Would I take that? No, but I wouldn't think more than $25k would be doable even with my pristine example. Agree, given msrp of 55k, 10 years isn’t enough to juice up the price that much. Tough to price because anyone buying this presumably is going to keep as garage queen collectors item and how many of those types (who appreciate the rarity of this car) exist? Most others would rather save 10k and just find a good “low mileage” example.
My gut says $42 on high end and $37 is seller is trying to move it quick. May as well price high and see if there’s any bites! |

From the looks of that garage, I doubt he's in a rush to sell. Can't be but a handful left with that kind of mileage. Personally I wouldn't take less than 45k.

Obviously not the same as a private sale, but Enthusiast Auto Group will give you an idea of where the high end is.
http://enthusiastauto.com/qsearch/?f...1D=39&1574_0=1 Of course, they have nothing close to 4K. If they did, I'm sure they would price it at > $55K based on the two coupes in the link above.

(Disclaimer - I have never bought a car from them; it's just fun browsing their inventory.)

EAG drove three cars from Cincinnati to Hot Springs, North Carolina. An E30 Touring, E28 M5 and an E31 850CSi. Spent time going over the E31 and they have extensive records with pictures from the previous owner. Then they list recommended maintenance and repairs. Then list and document (with pictures) each part that is removed with condition and it's replacement. Extremely thorough process as they don't leave a stone unturned. It gives a prospective owner peace of mind but that does come at a premium cost. The 850CSi was just sitting and he invited me to start it and then wanted me to hear the Bluetooth the previous owner had installed that was so clean it was easy to miss. He didn't treat the cars like they are museum pieces and the 850CSi hadn't been gone through at their shop, yet it was seriously clean and idled with its noted double sound. Their pricing can be viewed as crazy to someone that just wants a nice M car but for those that want an M car that has either been maintained or brought up to a very high level, EAG can be a one stop shop. And I am not an EAG customer, just wanted to see if they were going approachable or cool, and they were very nice and forthcoming with any question asked. They had one customer there and he was very happy. I ball-parked the 850CSi at $125,000-$200,000 and after a few hours I finally got to asked him the question and he said that it would be priced between $150,000-$200,000. It's been relayed to them it's a one of one by BMW NA. It's a lot of money but up until recently they have been undervalued like a few certain M cars, but it is one of 225, built my BMW Motorsport, V12 with a 6-speed manual, pillar less GT coupe. They have an excellent example and will charge serious money for it but you also know exactly what you are getting. |

It's funny, the only ones you'll find complaining about EAG have never done business with them. Ask anyone who has - and I've purchased an E39 M5 from Eric in the past - and the praise is universal. Yes, nothing they sell is cheap, but it's all very carefully vetted, and fully gone through and every single maintenance item brought up to snuff before it hits their lot. You get what you pay for. I'd do business with Eric again in a heartbeat.

However, there’s no denying that NADA values M Roadsters more accurately. Simply put, the Coupe and Roader markets are just not the same. You lost me the minute you mentioned that a 4K mile imola/imola Z4M coupe is worth mid 30’s. Last edited by Eson; 05-24-2018 at 02:50 PM.. |

I think $45k is a reasonable price for that car with really low miles. Now, the Z3M's are a bit overpriced in EAG.
