Getting wheels, need help choosing tire size

I am getting a set of ARC8 in 8.5F and 9.5R. I am torn between going with a 235 or 245/40F and 265 or 275/40R. The overall height of the larger size is closer to stock but, I'm concerned that they'll bulge on the wheels and I don't want to run 9" and 10" wheels because I feel it looks oversized under the car and probably doesn't translate into any performance gains.

Can anyone running a 235/265 on 8.5F and 9.5R setup post pictures?

Thanks,

i just put new wheels on my ride and am running 225/275. the thread is in the pics section, i'll post the link here in a sec. IDK if what's up there helps or not. I like the look of the 275 in the rear. It looks almost perfectly flush, which is a + in my book.

Thanks,
245/40 & 265/40 should be near identical to stock rolling diameter, and this is what the stock wheel and tires sizes are on the E9x M3 with 18" wheels so you could use the vast number of pics available of that wheel/tire combo to see if you like the look.

Thanks,
im going with a 235 40 and a 265 35 when i get my arc 8s in 8.5f and 9.5r. I dont want the extra weight of going wider wheels and tires. tire sidewall flex and and compound is much more imortant for grip than width!

sorry no pictures until i get the setup
