Z4M front sway bar options

I'm looking to try a milder sway bar setup versus stock. The rear is easy as bars from e46/z4 all fit. The front however is a unique setup from what I understand.

Which of these is most likely to fit a stock Z4M front suspension?

1. Z4 3.0/E46
2. E36 M3

Any other candidates?

Front E46 bars fit also. The rear in the Z4M was already the best (same as M3 CSL). so the one step further is the front M3 CSL

The rear bar is not the same on the M Roadster, only the Coupes run the CSL rear bar

The M roadster runs a 21.5mm rear bar, the coupe runs a 22.5mm rear bar
Part numbers shows also

E85M Rear: 33552282181
E86M Rear: 33552282681

I have a coupe so my statement was applicable to my car. If the OP has a roadster he can upgrade to the coupe’s / CSL’s

Street for sure. I think the car would ride a lot better on uneven surfaces if it has smaller sway bars.

In my experience sway bars make very limited difference in ride comfort.
They aren't adding anything to spring rates for normal driving.
The only time they really add anything is under cornering load or if one wheel drops into a pot hole.

A softer front bar ;
1. Increases front chassis roll.
2. Increases front grip or traction, while decreasing rear grip or traction.
3. Slows steering response.
4. Increases off-power steering at corner entry.
For ride comfort springs and dampers are the only real solution.

Soft springs, big bars give perfect combo of ride and handling.
