Got my ESS tuned DME back today...
From Missouri to Arizona to Norway, she's traveled in the last 28 days. And all I can say is "wow. So much smoother than my "other" tune. Stable idle and so smooth in Sport mode. No more herky jerky. Successfully turned off my rear o2 sensors so no more SES light from the headers. Can also feel that it's tuned now to optimize my headers. Very happy! Best part is I only have got 30 miles on the tune. It adapt to be at full power for another 100-150 miles.
Special shout out to Roman and AJ at ESS Tuning who went above and beyond to get this done. Believe me they had some hurdles to cross because of the last tuner. Basically these guys should have charged alot more with all the work that had to be done. A few people already know about it but I'm not going to bash another tuner on this board. I fully recommend Ess if your going to have this done. $795 for how long I don't know but well worth it.

I'm glad you are back on the road. Down time is a nightmare.
ESS really knows what they are doing. They are the only tuning company I trust after going through similar issues. Gongrats man, time to play catch up and log some miles.

Great to hear. You've got to really be looking forward to another couple of hundred miles on the clock.
I'm getting a little tired of the herky jerky myself. |

Alright, alright, I'm sold. This will be my next mod instead of exhaust cans. Hopefully within the next month.

Update:
500 plus miles. Got it out today. The combination of 75 degree weather and full adaption has this thing running like a rocket ship on rails. Im digging this a lot.

didn't want to make a new thread so i'll post here.
Lately I've been noticing a lot (LOT) of lag starting into first and then some into second. will a tune cure that? I don't have any aftermarket parts as of now. would a tune cure the lag (among other things)? would it be worth it to do a tune on a stock car? just curious. the lag is VERY notciable, by even my wife in the passenger seat. she asked me if i was smashing the gas after a second. . . which i'm not.
