Removal and install was easy for me as I have my car up on jackstands for the winter.
I removed my front end complete so I could R&R the oil pan. Removal of 2 bolts each side and slide the lollipop( as they are called ) off. You will need a front end alignment after. I have a set of FCAB's in the classified if interested. http://www.zpost.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1214450

Thanks dude. I'll find out if they fit or not. I don't know that I necessarily need to do them but I'm at close to 90k and probably wouldn't be a bad idea.

You sure about that? I thought RTABs yes, but FCABs no.

FCABs are OK w/o alignment due to the way the lollypop mounts to the chassis. (Locating pin)

In my case the whole front end has been out so I will want/need an alignment

I ruined a set of front tires after a few thousand miles when I didn't get an alignment after FCAB replacement. I know it shouldn't have needed one. Maybe mine were so shot that the wheel was allowed to move as it wanted, and anything out of spec was transparent; then when I replaced the FCABs, it tightened up enough that the camber or toe settings wore out the tires.

Good point.
No alignment required assumes that alignment is OK to begin with.
