Also here is an article about prices for collector cars going down. 20% drop in air cooled Porsches for example from last year.

There is an increase in certain BMW M cars that will take place in the next few years. The lower the volume of said car, the better the price increase.

People want something different, desirable and that gives them what they cannot get in the form of "an experience" from a current car.

Natural sounds, steering feel, emotion, tactile feel, a manual transmission and actual noises the car makes because it's mechanical and has a feeling of it being "alive" so to speak.

M Coupes will increase in price and the ones priced in the middle of the market (loved and driven but not beat) will have the most competition among future buyers.
I said the same thing and someone corrected me and pointed out that they built 4275 worldwide.

I am also not buying the "data" when it is coming from a site that doesn't know what they sold for, or if they actually sold, and KBB's 2% increase works out to about $500.
I should have stated that was for North America, as my assumption was readers would know this.

That was my bad.

Actual E86 M Coupe world-wide production was:

ECE-spec, LHD: 1,714 produced from 04/2006 - 07/2008
ECE-spec, RHD: 1,052 produced from 04/2006 - 06/2008
NA-spec, LHD: 1,815 produced from 04/2006 - 08/2008

for a total of 4,581 cars
(does not include pre-production cars)

Did you read the copy for that ad? Interesting comments (completely wrong). Since they even screwed up the motor code they obviously have no idea what they have...

"Legendary S-52 Inline six cyl. w/6 individual throttle bodies,
feed by rail fuel injection producing 333+ hp. and great torque
in sport-mode, override is 250 hp. with softened throttle mapping
for driving ease and better mileage. "
