Anyone owning a 2007-2008 roadster, would you mind posting a close up picture of the top in the open position. Close up picture from the side and a close up picture of how the top fits into the rear shelf right behind the headrests would be great. Thanks in advance!

Is the '07/'08 different than '06? I can get some tomorrow from a 2006 M Roadster if you want.

That would be great! The reason I was requesting 07-08 is because my 07 doesn't have the 'top down lock' and I want to compare my car with others of the same year or into 08. I don't know if the 06 had the 'top down lock' feature. Just trying to make sure I'm comparing "apples to apples".

I remember a few discussions on this when I had my '06 M Roady.
Some tops seemed to lie down better than others.

As I recall there was no latch/lock in the down/open position.

so how do you know if you have this roof lock? mines a feb 06 built car.

I'm not sure. I've been told it was deleted at some point. I know mine doesn't have it.
