Have you ever looked down to check the oil temperature gauge and said "oh my God, I'm overheating!!!" when you saw that the needle was 3/4 to the right......

......only to realize you're reading your 3/4 full GAS gauge?

Seriously BMW, next time please make the two gauges look at least a little different during quick glances. Happened to me today, quite an unpleasant experience.

No.

Even if the oil was reading 3/4 to the right, it's perfectly within the operating range of the oil.

Go to a DE or autocross and you'll see that everyday

Yeah, but for normal driving, mine is always left of center.
