Congrats! I got my car just prior to Thanksgiving and swore that I would avoid mods for a while too.... but the ZHP shift knob went in over the weekend, the Nav is customized and updated and I'm looking to do something about those reflectors and whip antenna. So much for not spending money on mods...

Mods, good luck with that, especially if you spend any time here. You don't have to spend a lot of money to see some simple and meaningful improvements. I'd see about the clutch stop that's for sale over here. Very very cheap mod, and one that is universally liked. There are several things like that, the CDV if the clutch feel bugs you (probably a 75% "like" rate), transmission mounts, and the ZHP knob that are relatively cheap and give very good bang for the buck. (Good picks btw Gripster.) There was a very recent thread where all of this was covered in depth. Worth a read if you haven't do so already. |

Great purchase and great color! Good luck on holding out on mods, but it seems that you have a good list already made. I'm getting my modified CDV installed as we speak!

Congrats! When I bought my Z this past summer, I knew I was going to buy mods. Now it's just a matter of limiting myself and being practical with my mods. Sounds crazy, but I'm itching bad to just go ahead and buy my parts even though it won't be for another few months before they get put on (coilovers, new rims).
In the meantime, I bought some new LEDs for interior lighting, license plate LEDs and I still have to buy the ZHP shift knob. |

Nice.. and congrats. I just saw an 08 BMW Z4M at one of the dealers here with 900 miles and they wanted $39900. So these are going for what the E92 M3s are going for with 30000-60000 miles. Well at least one is anyway.
See you on the road.

Well, they might get it...depending on the color combination, I might have bought this a few months ago when I was looking (if it is a coupe). After too many months of looking, I was more than ready to pay $35K for my one-owner mint Z4MC with 9K miles. And then, I spent another 2K to get it the car in (and I mean this) absolutely new condition (well, to be fair part of this was I wanted the front bumper holes to be gone, not just plugged). Sometimes it's not about the money.
