Cost of Replacing Wood Trim w/ Carbon Fiber

I am sure this is on here somewhere, but I can't find it.

What would it cost to replace the wood trim in a Z4MR with carbon fiber?

I am looking at a couple used ones, but they have the wood trim which I'm not that fired up about. The wife likes it, but I'm kind of on the fence.

Thanks.

Does it need to be real carbon fiber?
Buy aluminum trim and cover it with carbon fiber look laminate.
The optional carbon fiber look leather is a little pricy.

That said, I wouldn't base my decision to buy the car on 3 pieces of trim.
Get the wood and look at it as an opportunity to be creative.

Check the "Cosmetics Modification" sub-forum.

I love my wood trim lol. Everyone mentions it when they see my interior, but I also have the Dark Sepang Bronze interior which is an awesome combo.

No, it doesn't have to be real carbon fiber. I just would like it to look nice.

I'd be willing to trade my aluminum for your wood trim if you're willing. I have an 06 coupe so if all you need is the wrap, then the aluminum will be perfect for that. I don't like the aluminum look in my tan interior.

Can't the wood trim be wrapped? Just curious as to why one would swap to aluminum in order to wrap.

Carbon leather trim comes up for sale here once in a blue moon.

Brand new the Carbon leather trim would run up to $1800 if i can correctly recall.

Next best thing is to join the CF trim GB in the Classifieds.

Or you can have your wood trim wrapped with CF print or others have had their wood painted to piano black.

Wood looks good depending on the interior...feel it takes away from the sporty feel.
