Carbon sideskirt extensions

after installing the front lip, i felt i wanted to continue something along the sideskirts. with nothing available, i had some made. i kept the dimensions so entry was not going to be an issue and im very happy with the final look. here are a couple pics.

I have been wanting something exactly like that to match my apr splitter...what weave pattern is that?

I was thinking about something like this as well.
I was planning to contact APR and send them a template.

Yours look very much like the way APR does the front lip.

yes. that was my intention. the weave is 2x2. best part is they don't stick out alot to get in the way.

Definitely post about this if you go through with it....by friends boss has the full arp kit on his frs, and it looks great

i made cuts and notches to fit around the rear jack pads and rubber water guards in front of the rear wheels. and since our skirts are nice and even from the underside, mounting is easy

No, not until spring when I move the car. They are a very mild visual modification. I find they just finish the sides paired with a front splitter

This is excellent. I've had the same thought but you executed it very nicely. I'd definitely be interested if someone were to manufacture these.

If you get the car lifted I'd love to see how deep they go under the car. Nice mod as usual. If you don't mind, how much did these run you?

they are about 8" wide and run past the jack pads/blocks. i had them notched around so they cover the entire underside of the sideskirts. everything ran me around $600

+1 I was about to buy some s2k ones and play with them. With my front lip I def need something on the sides.

I have been in contact with Tony at APR.
....... Just waiting to hear back.
I was planning to get a couple of plain strips (if APR will sell them) and design my own.

It will also make a difference which side sills you have on the car.
We wouldn't be able to have just one design. (Makes a GB a little harder)

Absolutely Dubs would need to be willing as well as his source be agreeable

Is it possible to have a universal shape to suit all the different skirt designs , really not sure how many different ones there are.besides aero and standard, in any case the mounting points should be typical.

I had the strips made and slightly modified the curve with a Dremel blade and reinstalled the outer bead.

You might need a sign in the car, so your passenger know to step away from the car. Marks on the side skirts is common on my car and I can only see it being stepped on.
