.::Z4 Hardtop - Jet Black 668 - SOLD::.

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
None

Item Interest
Not in need to sell, but these days...could always use the extra mula.

It's a JB (668) hardtop for the E85 Z4. Will fit ALL E85 Z4s, regardless of options*, etc.

* If you do not have the hardtop prep kit installed, it will not fit
I do have the prep kit installed currently and can offer it, and help install it, if so desired.

It's in 8.5/10 condition with 3-4 light (very light) scratches on the passenger side and one rock chip near-ish to the center of it. The paint is black...so it shows a few squirls up close and under light, but it's really not that bad (compared to black cars I've had!). There is no fading nor clear coat peeling. The corners are all in perfect order and nothing is chipped (with exception of the aformentioned rock chip up top).

The inside has black headliner, which is in perfect condition as well (no rips, tears, stains, etc).

All covers (left and right lock covers on "C" pillar, front-center plastic cover for front latch/lock) are included and in good condition.

The seals are all intacted and in fine order. All are soft (not hard/brittle) and are tear/puncture free.

To be included:

- One (1) Jet Black Hardtop
- All three (3) lock covers
- One (1) locking wrench
- One (1) Used Z4 hardtop storing stand
- One (1) New Z4 hardtop storage bag

Price: SOLD SOLD SOLD *Will NOT ship*

I'm located near Cleveland, Ohio. I know I'm new to Zpost, but I've been very active on E46fanatics.com and have done a few dozen deals on there, not a single one gone bad. I've sold little trinkets to $1,500 wheels/tires, so I have a few good deals under my belt with strangers and am not here to take anyone for a ride (I get it's pick-up only, but I mean this to show I'm not going to get someone to drive in to get it and find it's been misrepresented).

Any questions or request for specific pictures, feel free to ask!

Haha, I'd like to claim that I don't know you, Kyle!

Are you bringing the M out to play soon? I find out this Friday if I'll be moving to CO and I want to play with the big boy coupe before I go (wishful thinking, I guess "IF I go").

Depending how the weather is end of February (Feb 29th-March 4th) is when my Midterm break is.

If there is no salt on the road, I might be able to take it out, just gotta throw the insurance back onto it...which I don't know if I want to do.

If not, the next time it WILL be out April 4th-9th. There is a NORA autocross that weekend at Geauga Lake that I'm already planning on going. Hopefully you don't leave until after that.

We still need to get together...as planned. I think it's time for another meet thread on ob.c with bowling plans of March 3rd, saturday night.

Ahh, I predict it'll be good to go soon enough, if this mild winter keeps up.

I need to get on the ball about some summer wheels/tires, so if I'm still around I can eat some cones too. Maybe I'll just run on the winters if still around

I just talked to the dealer the other day about the hardtop and the Black hartop new sells for $2700, i know i was shocked at the price but i guess BMW is trying to get rid of their stock, the black, white and dark silver where all thats left in germany.

they go for around $1000 or $1500 normally seen a few at aorund $1800

id be willing to buy as i have to paint it silver anyway and silver is no longer available but if your firm at that price id just buy new and fresh from the dealer.

if you get no bytes and are willing to drop a little let me know.

Tisher shows it for $2790

From what I've seen, it seems like a fair price, with the stand and bag included :dunno:

Price I've seen folks reporting on new (where available) is $3.5K or so (shipping from Germany included).

I'll shoot you a PM, C.

Smile

Not try to deviate from your thread, I've been thinking about getting a hardtop and was wondering what is needed to install a hardtop?

- Prep kit
- 3 lock covers
- 1 locking wrench
- Of course, a Hardtop

Am I missing anything else? Anyone has part number for all these?

Let me know when you're willing to ship and I do have SBM that's close enough not painting for the time being.

thanks,

^ Your list is correct.

DIY for the prep kit: http://www.zpost.com/forums/showthread.php?t=466272

Realoem.com will show part numbers for it all: http://realoem.com/bmw/showparts.do?...30&hg=54&fg=20

I sure hope so. Still down get together March 3rd?

You can always mount my DD wheels if you don't mind it half way sticking out the fender.

I am interested in the black hardtop for my silver Z4M but at this price point, it's expensive for me.

I'll hang around for price reductions if any.

Hmm, I guess my idea of a fair price (known not to be in "great deal" territory, though) was off, based on feedback.

I guess I'll adjust it some and update the OP.

...and yes, winter would be the best time to see the hardtop, right?! I mean, who would want one on their vert when the weather's nice

It's detailed and beautiful. It will never touch salt.

Haha, yeah yeah....I'd rather have a dirty car that I enjoy than a clean car that stays parked

I guess if had a sharp Moupe I might feel differently though...

You're talking to the kid that chews tires up all over the side of the car, and then proceeds to, on some occasions nail cones.

Yep, you got it right there
