one thing i found out recently was locking the car while you're inside and trying to open the door by the handle or unlock button in center console. the locks will go up and then immediately back down to the lock position. you have to hit the unlock button on the key to get out!

not sure if this is only a roadster thing though.

Sometimes I accidentally lock my door with my arm while driving. I just have to pull the handle twice. Did you lock it with your FOB?

One nice feature is you cannot lock the drivers door when it is open no matter what avenue you take. FOB, pushing it by hand, etc.

It may have been a 3 coupe (or maybe a Z4 roadster), but he figured that all newer BMWs did that and it would be cool to pull that on his brother - not.
