Definitive Z4M production info

When I was shopping for my M Coupe I referred extensively to the list of Z4Ms provided by wildag, so props first goes out to him!

Because I'm a visual kind of dude, I made the spreadsheet a bit more helpful by using conditional formatting to color code the various paint/interior/trim colors and adding some [rough] logic to determine whether cars were equipped with premium package, heated seats, navigation, and HD radio. For non-PP cars I didn't try to determine which individuals features were added outside of the premium package.

Extended leather is represented by a white border around the Interior Color (designated by VL).

I removed the all of the fields I added to help me shop like mileage, price, location, in service date, etc., mostly as a courtesy to other owners who might have bought during the 2-month period I was collecting data.

Also, note that it's in Excel 2007 format (required for conditional formatting).

(I'm #924 on the Coupe list )

Very nice. Great job! I found my car. I will have to do some more sorting but with a quick glance I did not see another car like mine. Maybe I have the only one with my configuration? We'll see.

Why not host it as a spreadsheet in google docs with a public URL so everyone can see without having to download anything? Then you can grant access to select people to make collaborative edits\etc.

Because I despise RapidShare, and because I'm in the chain of "creators", here's the same file via a free fast download

I tried putting in a Google Docs spreadsheet a while ago, but it got mad at me and froze up my browser. Too much data I think, but that was also when I had all of those binary fields in the spreadsheet. When I get home tonight, I'll give it another shot at uploading without all of the fields to see if that works better.

Isn't it great when you do something for the benefit of everyone and then people complain?

If you PM me your email addresses, I'll make you owners.

I only added conditional formatting for the first three exterior colors.

So I had a little fun sorting the list related to my car...

There were 334 Z4MCs with Extended Leather or ~18.4% of the total production of 1815 cars

Only 5 Z4MCs were built in Sapphire Black - Black Extended Leather - Wood Trim - Premium Package

4 of those 5 have heated seats (incl mine)

3 of those 5 have Nav (not incl mine)

So I have a 1 of 1.

I know, I know... stfw
