Roof Fault (E85)

I have a problem on my Z4 and nobody seems to be able to shed light on it, or they tell me it's normal!

When I use the driver door lock fully CCW to close the roof and windows (Comfort Closing) on some occassions the operation does not complete. The roof closes fully but the windows stay in the 6" down position. This happens around 50% of the time. I have a 3rd party Reinhold module fitted to operate the roof via the keyfob. The RH module uses the door lock comfort closing/opening function so it also exhibits the same issue. The roof always goes down correctly under all circumstances, where the windows lower 6" the roof stows and then the windows return to the up position.

Any assistance would be greatly appreicated, do you know of this type of issues on either the E85 or E46 Vert?

TIA

With the roof up, can you use the windows automatic roll-up feature? (Pull up on the window control switch for a second and let go. Window should roll up all the way automatically)

If the above is false, you need to calibrate the windows. With the roof up, hold the window-up button for 10 seconds past the point that they are up. Do the same in the down direction. Repeat twice.

Yes, the one-touch fucntion works. I have re-calibrated both sides, (should have stated that).
