RockAuto selling Z4M LuK clutch kit for $172
This seems like a great deal, thought I'd share in case anyone needs a clutch for their Z4M https://www.rockauto.com/en/catalog/...lutch+kit,1993 Last edited by filtercoffee; 06-30-2020 at 04:41 PM.. |

Enormous variance, 60-100k? They can go longer or shorter that it all depends. Nothing special about Z4M clutches afaik.

As you said depends more on driver but I’ve seen heavily tracked cars that have over 80k street miles on original clutches.

Having just done a clutch on one, I can guarantee you that they are nothing out of the ordinary. Perhaps sized to handle the torque, otherwise pretty much what you'd find in a lower powered BMW.
I agree on the "it depends" part regarding clutches in general. There are people who wear them out in under 20K miles because they rest their foot on the pedal. There are people who match speeds so well that clutches outlast engines. Pretty much everything in between. |
