How do people do the quad tip conversion?
How do I get custom quad tips on my E85? That "black box" is in the way. How do you guys do it?

Zero gains, just bling and you have cut up your car to do it.

Battery relocation or have a tip extend far out from the main muffler. As previous poster said, expensive and no performance gains:

If you can get a rear M bumper and put your battery similar position as the M has it tou can totally do a nice qua and maybe even get a nice after market X pipe and Mufflers to go along or always can use the M OE ones and work with those too. Probably takes time, dedication, and $$$ but I would think is a good result.

Yes but it's cheaper just to sell your m54 and buy a Z4M

Same engine but you also get better brakes, suspenson, addition of LSD and ability to run wider tires.
