UUC EVO3 / CDV Delete... Tomorrow :)

Feel like a kid who's going to visit Willy Wonka tomorrow, getting a UUC EVO3 short shift kit installed as well as replacing the CDV valve with one that's modified...

Most of the posts for ssk's are with the Z4M owners, are there any non-M owners out there with a ssk, if so are you pleased with the decision to install?

Dave

Matt... Is your Z4M Red for the Badgers, or Red Sox's? Actually either one works for me.

CDV Delete was the best thing I ever did!
Lets me do burnouts and power slides, and is a heck of a lot better on the track!

Looking forward to tracking it some time.

That will be an added relief.

Anyway got a call from the shop, had to reschedule for Wednesday morning...

They have to get a Z3M off the lift first, waiting for wheel spacers. Just added an "Active Autowerke" supercharger and big brake kit to it. Boy a supercharger is a very tempting mod.

Anyway I guess one more day is okay

Wow...

Driving with CDV -

Driving after CDV delete -

I really can't believe I waited this long to get this done, and the UUC EVO3... damn nice shifter. It's a bit on the notchy side at the moment, but I already can tell that it's much improved in terms of precision shifts. Left the shift handle at the default height for the time being, may drop 1/2 of an inch after it breaks in.

I had the work done at a shop in Waunakee Wisconsin called AccuMoto, http://www.accumoto.com/ , and the shifter was ordered directly from UUC's web page. Very happy with the work done at the shop, will use them again.

Damn it's like driving a new car...!

I paid $150 in labor to install the SSK and replace the CDV valve, 1 1/2 hours of work. And if you wanted to do this yourself the use of a lift is definitely the way to go, working around the heat shield when your on a creeper would get old quick.

that seems like a very reasonable price for both the shifter and the CDV.
this might be my next mod.... thanks... A
