Its group-think. Now...If you could find a way for me to get rid of the antenna and base and rework it so that the antenna wire was integrated into say the roof panel so there was nothing at all to see...than that would be cool...I think the only problem is what do you do with the hole in the fender? Can you order a new fender without a hole...and how much does that cost plus paint?

Hm, well after further testing my AM is non-existant and my FM is substantially worse. I drove the same route to work, FM signal was cutting in and out and AM was just static. I'm gonna try the OEM antenna along the same route tomorrow and see if it is the stubby.

Mine's shipped too!!!! I hate the USPS's tracking system... it's not real time so you never know where your package is until it gets delivered... and even then if you try to track it it says in shipment or something stupid!

($4.99 for shipping and it only weighs 2 ounces... you'd think they would just send it by UPS/FedEX!!!!!)

USPS Priority for a 1lb package is about 5$

FedEx/UPS 1lb and under starts at about 8-10$ depending on location.

USPS is the cheapest method for shipping small products.

I was just joking. Most people dream about having a wonderful family, a big house, long and healthy lives, celebrity game & fortune. All you want is for your antenna to not be visible on your Zed.

inTgr8r should demand commission from Mangowalk! Between Z4UM and ZPOST, how many of us have these antennas?

Why are you guys getting the stubby, while the car looks better when you take the antanna completely off? I have taken mine off for a year now on my 06 Si and I have not experienced any loss in radio(AM or FM) reception, bluetooth, and BMW assist.

No. It just looks like somebody stole your antenna. Also, watch out for rust.

and make sure you're unscrewing the antenna and not ripping off the base from the rear quarter panel...

o.O

Personally I just got an S2K antenna on my car.

I tried to purchase from that Mangowalk guy on ebay and never shipped the item after 4 days so I canceled the order. Instead I brought a short antenna from ESE Tuning.

http://www.esetuning.com/ESE-Short-S.../ese-00039.htm

I got it quickly and looks good.
