I have performed 2 oil changes since last year even though the car has only seen about 800 miles. The car has never had a single warranty problem 1200 mile service was performed at 2K miles due to driving it home from Las Vegas NV History and condition: I bought this car to drive much more than I have. I originally intended to use it for many track days but I got my club racing license and bought a dedicated race car shortly after buying the M Coupe. This car saw a day at CMP (Carolina MotorSports Park), Road Atlanta, and Barber MotorSports Park. I didn’t have any offs and never missed a shift. The car has performed flawlessly and has never been mistreated. I trailered it to these tracks and had Toyo RA-1’s on the stock wheels for track use. I also changed the brake fluid to Motul 600 and used Performance Friction Pads. I wasn’t happy with BMW’s paint quality on the front bumper as it got some little pits (before any track events) for no apparent reason. (I don’t tail gate) With the black primer the little specs showed up on the white and it bothered me. I had the bumper sanded and re-sprayed as well as having the aero side sills and side markers (front and back) sprayed at the same time. The light still shines through the rear side markers when the lights are on. The car has had light smoked Lamin-X film on the headlights since it was almost new. This can be peeled off to reveal brand new headlights underneath. (no pits at all – the film takes any abuse) With the xenon headlights I can’t tell any performance difference with the smoked film and it tones down the chrome background. After having the front bumper resprayed I had Lamin-X paint protection applied to the front bumper, hood, and side mirrors. The car is in excellent condition. I would eat off the engine. This car has always been allowed to warm up before any aggressive driving. Even then it's been driven with finesse and never ham fisted. It’s seen most of its miles cruising on good North Georgia roads so it’s hardly seen a single pot hole. I’m a non-smoker and a bit obsessive with keeping the car top notch. Unfortunately, it’s become a bit of a garage queen. I have it hooked up to a smart battery tender right now. I am selling the car because I now have a child and a 2 seater just isn’t working for me. If you are interested PM me and I'll send more pics.

Thanks everyone for the GLWS. This is not an easy decision as the car has been top notch.
As far as what I said about the tires having no miles on them well, I am going to go for a drive this weekend so the tires will have some miles on them now. Part of me says to sell the E36 race car and turn the M Coupe into the race car. Temptation is a biotch...

HyperSport. It's a one off that I wanted to have them produce 10-15 to resell myself. My attorney suggested otherwise due to liability.

I've already contacted Hyper Sport Engineering.
They are more then happy to do another, but they asked to have Dan's in-house to use as a template. They did this back in '06, I believe, so not like it is fresh in their minds... The price was very reasonable. Email kirt@hypersportengineering.com for more info.

That could be a problem. They are 2 hours from my house and the next time I am going to be near HS is when I race @ Road Atlanta (Feb 19-20). If the car hasn't sold by then I'll give Kirt a ring and try to make this work.
I could take measurements and send him pics but I don't feel confident that it can be reproduced this way.

Here are a few pics from yesterdays drive. The tires now have about 125 miles on them. The entire time I drove it I thought....why am I selling this car? Oh yeah, when I got home my 2 year old daughter reminded me.
