What sounds like fraud? Why are people so ignorant and especially so negative. These were my custom personalized plates which I had to discover and order to have this custom combination of lettering. They are no longer registered to a vehicle so they are being sold as a collectors item or as a vanity collectors plate. For legal reasons when I listed this item I had put accepting donations instead of for sale not knowing the laws. But now after researching, it is not illegal to sell a license plate not currently registered to a vehicle. I own the rights to the plate, not the plate itself. Look on eBay and search for California license plates. You guys really need to do some research before just posting negative stupid crap!!

This thread is pretty entertaining. I'm interested to see the individual that wants to drive a "sick" BMW and what the donation is for that "distinction".

Oh and no need to thank me for the bump Sick BMW.

You know what's funny is I only run into this sort of resistance on the zpost forums. Over on the 3 post or M3 post there's no issues. Alot of negatives over here. And hey thanks for the free bump.

Here is another free bump, dont u think that if it was a desirable plate it would sell quicky. Its the worst vanity plate I have ever seen and I cannt imagine anybody wanting it for free let alone for $$ or donations as u say.

Thanks again for the free bump, however if you had the slightest bit of intelligence you would realize that I just listed it 5 days ago and it will sell. Like I previously mentioned I have it listed on several different forums including the 3 and m3 post and have already received 2 offers on it. I'm glad you feel that it is the worst vanity plate YOU have ever seen but unfortunately YOU are no one special and your opinion is just that, your opinion. So thanks again for your non needed 2 cents. Let's keep em coming.

What is so difficult to understand that im selling a vanity license plate on the bmw forums? Why is this so wrong and what's the big deal with the same three stooges continuously trying to knock me!

You are the only one posting idiotic stuff in this thread. You wrote, "...have them transfered over to someone else...", and the posted a section from the DMV FAQ about gifting custom plates, and then said donations are requried. You clearly are not talking about a piece of metal that will be hung from a wall as a collector's item. You are talking about transferring plates, etc. AND asking for compensation in return. Don't try to wiggle your way around this. What you proposed is clear.
