Replacement Fan alternatives?
Just wondering if anyone has an alternative to the oem replacement fan? Plugged my fan back up and it didnt work, checked the voltage with volt meter and looks like it is dead. I really don't want to spend 400-600$ on a replacement so wondering if there are alternatives? I had a local e46 guy tell me he used the ebay duel fans with no problems but I'm hesitant lol.

I tried a flex-a-lite 116, and it was way too weak. Car kept running warm, even with that fan on full blast. Its rated pretty high in terms of flow too.
I eventually ponied up the cash for a new OEM fan. Maybe you can find someone local to re-build your fan, I couldn't

going to my local junk yard to grab a fan for an experiment, can someone post a picture of the fan connector from the harness? fyi my harness is cut and all over the place. I know that from the fan it's red, brown, and green.
