OEM bluetooth with upgraded head unit?

I currently have the business CD unit with bluetooth and want to upgrade to single din unit, was wondering if I get the steering wheel controls adapter will the bluetooth still work? or will I have to buy aftermarket BT set? Thanks

I asked about this at Crutchfield, and they said using the steering wheel control adapter, the volume & track buttons will usually work, but the phone control button usually doesn't. Sometimes it can be made to work, but no guarantees. This was a general response, not specific to the Z4. I'd be curious to see if anyone has had any luck with this button working.
