@crfine, i think you should post this in a seperate thread called
[RESEARCH] DKF exhaust Review

Because if you put it here it will have less exposure since people do not know which page your review is on.

There's a NASA TTB Z4M in the Midwest Region that runs a stock exhaust so that he can maximize the utility of his points. I don't know about some of ya'll, but for the track, Hoosiers> Exhaust, no matter how good it sounds.

Update

Just to give you guys an update on this.

My car need to get a new brake master cylinder that should be done this week. After that I'm taking my car to VS Motorsport to get rtabs limiters, a SSK, alignment and corner balance plus headers and tune. Also they will do a before and after Dynos on my car at that time. So I'm hopping to have some numbers for you guys after that.

My best guess is that I should have all done within two weeks, this will allow me to do so video clips of it.

Crfine want to do the GB of the systems what is okay with me but he had being very busy lately but I'm sure he will help you guys on your decisions and choices.

My car have being running the DKF Exhaust for over 600 miles and I have no CEL with the OEM headers and S-pipe resonators and X-pipe plus mufflers. You can definitely feel a increase of power with the setup this way. After 500 miles I notice that some small drone is happening but just for about 300 rpm at 2200 to 2500 rpm I'm working on a solution to minimize that even more and that should be done by the middle of this week and I will post here.

After you've had legit aftermarket mufflers you'll realize they don't flow that well. I went back and forth between Diablos and OEM and the OEMs feel like I'm towing something.

Nice! VSM does great work.

Where are you getting your car dyno'd?

Is your car going to be tuned with that ESS Tune you mentioned in the past?

Looking forward to your progress.

New Muffler Hangers

So this is the final piece of the system

It will reduce the vibration inside the cab/Drone, it allows the exhaust to stretch in the correct direction, it allows full adjustability of the tips and its lighter then OEM.

full Stainless steel 304, Silicone isolators.

Beautiful and functional. I think you really nailed it with these. Tip alignment can be a pain with any exhaust system for our cars, but you just solved that problem :-)

Very sweet! This seems to completely replace the hanger for our exhaust. It is said that overtorquing the OEM part will increase drone in the E46 M3. I'm sure it's the same for our cars.
