Brake Pad Sensor Reset

I recently got the brake pad sensor in my Z4. I replaced the pads but the sensor would not shut off. Finally got it to shut off by turning the key to position 2. Press and hold the S/R button until the "reset" text comes up on the bottom of the odometer screen. Very shortyly thereafter the "pad" icon went off.

If not and the previous sensor was tripped you need to replace it or it will keep thinking it is because it will continue to complete the circuit. If the metal is showing on your sensor, replace it. Or you can just tie the sensor out of the way to disable it
