off topic, but how could your car be the 49th from the end of production and still be the 1st of 68 of your color?

It says "one" of 68, not first. But now I'm curious about the order of that, too.

O/T - What is the issue with Stromung's business practices?
To: OP - how did you find out 49th from end? My roadster was built 08/08 and they ceased production 08/18, I got a list but cant make heads or tails out of it because the vin's are not in order. Happy motoring.

I just installed the Diablo's with the RE x-pipe but have not noticed any drone. Perhaps it's my driving style or I've just become accustomed to the Tubi's on my E63. So far I am pleased with the sound, the OEMs were driving me crazy with as quiet as they were.

IIRC I sorted by VIN on the spreadsheet. Or I knew the VIN of the last one built and I subtracted my VIN from it, as the VINs are in numerical order (but the numbers differ by year)

The x-pipe is supposed to help the drone some. I don't know if I want to spend more money, and I'd probably need to go to a shop to install it.

Im keeping my SuperSprint Powerloops until they do the same. The ONLY time I have slight drone is at about 2600 RPM when going up a steep hill near my house, never anytime else. The sound of these has matured over the miles of usage to a very deep rumble and are quiet on the highway at cruising speeds.
I bought mine used from another member here on zpost. Keep looking, AestheticStorm... you will snag some good used ones too. You shouldnt have a problem selling your Diablos though in CA.

My Diablos only have 250 miles on them so I guess I'll put them back on and let them mature as others have recommended.

Happy Motoring.

I have the Sport version. I haven't heard the Race version before but from what I know... it's louder. For street application I think my Sports are as loud as I'd want to go. Definitely don't want to sound like I have a ricer/kraut.
As far as I know, the only licensed US distributor for Eisenmann is IND Distribution: http://www.ind-distribution.com/prod...00835%5E43.php They are your best bet for getting a pair brand new. Here's a clip I did a few years ago comparing OEM to Eisenmann & Remus exhausts: |

Your bmw data only showed coupes. (I did like OP and sorted the vins and got it down pretty good)
And I did google them and from the boards only saw people saying good things? But after hearing Rick's tunes I the Eisenmann made my Mod list.

From reading this thread I got the impressions that Remus exhausts are quieter than the Eisenmanns, which is what I'm looking for. Better research further and hit up YouTube

OP, any updates on the drone? Did it get any quieter after more mileage?
