Stupid Z4MC question #1: Headlights
Ok... I\'ve looked in the manual and the addendum for the M coupe and roadster, but couldn\'t don and answer, so:
On the Z4MC, with the xenon lights, does the inner round \"lens\" do anything, other than hold the \"angel eye\" rings? From what I can tell, mine do not illuminate with high beams (or under any other circumstance), and it appears my high beams work just fine with a plate actuated in the outer xenon lenses. So do these inner set of \"lenses\" do anything or light up in any way (other than the ring)? I\'m guessing they are the high beams on the cars with halogens, and simply remained as a stylized piece on the cars with xenons? Also likely cheaper to manufacture one lens housing. But that\'s just my guess. Like I said: dumb question, and my Google-Fu has failed me in finding an answer. |
