Hello
Greetings to everyone on zpost. I've been utilizing the exceptional resources available on these forums to both do research before purchasing my CPO'ed E86 ///M and as reference for a a couple of choice modifications I've done since.
I'm faraway from home here in Del Rio, TX for pilot training. Singapore is my home. What a beauty: |

Hey all.
Hey guys,
I've picked up my car back in Feb, and have been lurking the forum ever since. My technical knowledge is limited, but I hope to make some contribution down the road. Loving the car inside out. I saw it in person for the first time at the Detroit Auto Show, with the matte silver paint which got my attention immediately. I ended up picking up a black car for myself as you can see, but it's nice to see BMW push the limit of matte paint on production cars in the recent year. My previous car is Audi TT which I've enjoyed for many years. The new (to me) M is definitely in another league, however. Looking forward to being apart of this community. Matt |

Nice looking car. First time driving it was in the snow though? That had to be an experience...
First time I drove my Civic (long tim ago, car is long gone now) it was a blizzard and I had a hell of a time getting it to move. Come to realize I was doing it right, just the Civic was much more powerful and smooth than my old Mustang LX so I kept spinning the tires without noticing

Hiya Hawkeye,
Driving back from the dealership was not as bad as how it look in the picture. The snow was pretty much all gone from the pavement. I did enjoy the heated seats, alot. |

Hello
Glad to be here. I'm in Santa Clarita, California and have a 2006 M Roadster bought new in December 2007. It was either that or an Aston Martin at three times the price.
Someday I'll have both. Richard |

I lied. It's actually walnut trim. I can't tell the difference between wood grains I've seen two other Z4MC in the Richmond area (1 Sapphire Black in the Fan, the other Imola Red out in Innsbrook). Are you fellow drivers on this board?

Hello... I moved up to a 2007 Z4 M Coupe about a month ago and it continues to impress me! I never thought it would ever replace that C5 Z06 I had before, but it really is a great "driver's" car...
Unfortunately, I've already had a chance to test just how well this car is built - by having a deer jump in-front of me while going 65mph... Sorry for the disturbing pics, but I just wanted to show how tough these cars really are... No injuries (other than the deer) and no walking - I was still able to drive home (with BOTH headlights working...) |

Yeah, I was scared outta my mind when I was driving home from Austin last week. I saw so many deer chillin on the side of the road, was just waiting for one to jump out at me.
Sorry it happened to you.

ouch.. sorry to hear about the deer hit. Yeah. I see deer every day where I live and have killed a motorcycle (and the deer) a few years ago. Not a lot of fun, that. One of the not so "fun facts" about living here is the number of deer we get to see.
Glad you were able to still drive home with no injuries to you. Car should be fixed good as new in no time.
