Great Z4 topdown weather this weekend!

I pitty those of you that are still shovelling snow or chipping frost off your windshield. This St. Patrick's Day weekend will be awesome on the Gulfcoast! Mid 70s and sunny.

It was in the 60s here this mroning when I was on my way to work and out of nowhere, it starts raining. I was on the freeway and doing over 40 so I just went with it. got some funny looks, but it was fine by me as long as I kept moving.

It was 0*C on Sunday and I drove top down and heat blasting. LOL...

I got a few looks and smiles from other people as I was driving through traffic.

The highlight of the day was when I was driving through a mall parking lot and a little girl holding her mom's hand waved at me. I waved back with a smile.

Is it true? That if you go fast enough, you don't get wet?

70 is fast? Most highways here are 70. Only 2 lane 'county' highways are 55.

Rosie: If you go fast enough you will not get wet. The question is how slow can you go and still not get wet

Sometimes I find myself doing 100 in 55 mph sections of 95...but I try not to do it too often

I didn't find any obvious signs of water in the car and it wasn't a whole lot of rain. Still waiting to try the down pour drive.

R&R?
I'm actually thinking of doing a trip to Canada, for the Canadian GP. And I'm gonna park with the other BMW owners.

I find I get the best gas mileage going 65-70 mph. You are not wasting much gas when you are cruising, it is mostly in the acceleration and really high speeds that gas is wasted... errr.. used at a faster rate.

Yep. It is ok in light rain. Down pours you get wet. Of course, you get wetr at red lights and stop signs too. Better to leave the car in the garage if it is raining and drive your back up BMW.
