I think you did something every z4m guy wamts to do. I would go for 3.5l but 3.3 works hahha
I had dinan s2 e39 m5, no engine internals, but the car was just bomb, their engeeneering is superior, so as the OP said having the idle like stock and 360whp thats just awesome...

Beautiful car... Well thought out mods and retains OEM quality. Should move very fast. Quality build with expertise to back it up. GLWS.

Thank you sir!

To function properly without accelerated wear, a 3.5L S54 requires an aftermarket crankshaft, a 2-ring piston, and dry sump -- none of which are viable for a street or even mild track application with long term reliability in mind. Dinan swears that a traditional 3-ring piston and OEM wet sump cannot appropriately support a stroker crank, so that’s an avenue I didn’t venture further down. Building a fully warrantied S54 on steroids with enhanced reliability was the ticket for me.

Thanks guys!

Sorry for the picture delay. I was gone all weekend and the rain hasn't let up in NorCal. Maybe this means I should keep it...

Glad you came to your senses mate. Top notch car, you'll never find one like it if you have to replace it.

Hey OP! Lovely ///M Coupé...I'm about to repurchase one. What wheel/tire setup are you running? I'm thinking you might have more of a square tire setup, in typical Dinan style.

I owned the car when new, and remembered the staggered tire setup was not ideal for handling. The car was way better balanced when I switched to a square snow tire setup for winter. Also the suspension was too stiff for northeast roads, contributing to traction loss constantly...probably fine in California though.

Thanks!
