How many rattles does yours have?

Roads here in Idaho seem to get worse as it gets colder, I think the roads start to heave just like the side walks. So with the top up to keep warm of course I can notice every little noise. I must say these are tight little cars. My Z4 only has two rattles that annoy me and only on rough roads. One I have found and am going to take care of this spring, the other on the passenger side that I have not found yet. How about yours?

No rattles at all. Mine is on h&r coilovers with rpi exhaust. My drivers side seat is squeaking a bit, so I will remove it this winter and tighten it up

No rattles here, just an annoying sub sound high pitch squeal that increases pitch with speed at the back somewhere. Though only present between 90-110km/h. I thought it was a wheel bearing, but it persists., maybe it's the tire.. But zero rattles.

And I thought two rattles was nothing! Looks like I have some fixing to do. The one rattle on the passenger side I have not figured out I believe is the right pillar support where it meets at the dash, the plastic part.

Passenger's side cup holder.
Navi screen. Stops once the Sun shines on it for a while. Drives my crazy first thing in the morning.
Both visors. More of a leather on leather squeak, but even more annoying than a rattle.
Something in the area of the ashtray hits a resonance at 2500 rpm under acceleration and "beeps" for about 1/2 second as I pass through the resonant range.

Mine makes all sorts of noise… I believe 6-7 places at least… Many panels feel like they'll make noise… I just turn on the music to wash them out.

Rattles? Can't hear them over the RPI's screaming and the wind with the top down.

A little while ago I had an irritating little creaking from the bar that retains the shoulder belt to the side of the seat. Spraying in some vinyl cleaner seemed to resolve it but it caused me to do some research on special purpose lubricants that the automotive industry might use for all the various contact points in a car interior that would start making noise over time.

I found this: http://www.dowcorning.com/content/ne...news_EM30L.asp

And purchased this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Grease-Lubri...item3f092ff114

I haven't used it yet, but the cold winter seems to bring out the noise in BMW interiors.

Shifter knob at 5000+ RPM. I've tried wrapping the shaft with tape and poster putty, but doesn't help much. It makes me not want to hit that RPM -- I'm conflicted whether that's good or bad.

My Z4 doesn't have any rattles other than the passenger belt buckle tapping against the side if I don't have it positioned just right when there is no passenger, however it had what sounded like styrofoam rubbing against something and squeeking in the roll hoops and the cupholders. These noises drove me so crazy I was considering selling the car. Then I had a thought that maybe a little lubricant would help so I sprayed all seams and joints with WD-40, the car smelled awful for a couple of days but after a year I still have no squeeks.

I used to have really bad rattles from the roll hoops. I wrapped both of them very tightly with cloth hockey tape (think of how you'd wrap the bottom of the hockey stick). Completely fixed the problem, and you can't see it because I have the wind deflector installed over the top.

The Navi screen rattles pretty bad when at idle. I had others coming from drivers cup holder and vents... I also get a lower back massage while waiting at red lights... and that's because I have aggresive poly... motor mounts.

Once I go over 1.2k rpms.... nothing rattles and I love the way the car feels.

42K miles....no rattles....Rogue Engineering Diablo exhaust would cover any rattle noises.

I have/had that same rattle. I cut some black foam weather stripping and carefully pushed it down between the right pillar and the dash and that seems to have stopped it. I also did like another member on here posted and sprayed WD-40 between some plastic seams where the parts meet and that helped a lot as well. I have one left in the passenger door area that I haven't quite isolated. I think it's either the silver removable door pull trim vibrating or the storage compartment at the bottom of the door vibrating.

Both of my door lock pins rattle depending on the road I am on. Trying to figure out some kind of solution. Maybe some rubberized ones are on the market somewhere?
