I have seen 3 and I can't help but look at the guy/girl who bought one. I give kudos to less popular cars, or more rare cars like Audi R8. As far as looks go....it looks about as ugly as the new M3.
Top Gear is very inconsistent with markings to desginate track conditions.

I don't think accuracy is their top concern...it's more about the factor

was just gonna say that about the W.

On the other hand, i think the IS-F is a very nice car. And judging on reviews it drives pretty well. The only thing keeping me from wanting one is the sheer fact that the M3 and the C63 are about the same price. Lexus had to know that undercutting the competitors pricing is the only way they were gonna get significant market share.

Let me jump in as I have both cars.

What I love about the IS-F:
After a hard day if I want a quiet luxury car with smooth shifting gearbox, I have it. I can also stomp on it and there is no denying the torque and its ability to haul ass. I have not driven a car that shifts faster....not the new PDK, SMG or DSG. The M3 feels like my old S2000. You have to wind it up. No one make a simple NAV screen like lexus. Similarly the leather in the car is amazing....supple and does not deform. The gauges with the blue needles are cool. And of course the quality is beyond reproach.....no new flashes needed, no sensors going bad, no orange peel in the paint, no rattles. (I probably just jinxed myself)

What I do not like:
No LSD....at this price it should have one, not just use the electronics to simulate it.
The hump on the nose squeezing in the V8.
The dash material. The only part in the interior I do not like.
Harsh suspension (rebound sucks)
Too much understeer when pushed hard. Turn-in not that great.

I think that it is a great first attempt from Lexus, but yes, there is room for improvement.
