E92 M3 Competition Package wheels on Z4 M

I know I have heard over and over again that the e90/92 M3 Competition/1 series M wheels will not fit on a Z4 M. Has anyone tried this or is this just being said based on width/offset? I think these wheels would look SOOOOO sweet on my Z4M. Im not sure how similar these M3 wheels(link below) are to the competition wheels (based on width/offset) but if this guy stuck these on, then i would have to assume that the competition wheels would fit too?

They're a different fitment than the standard E9X M3 wheels you posted, but I do believe the E92 M3 Comp wheels would fit on a Z4 M. I've been wanting to get a set myself and I've done some measurements/calculations.

On stock suspension with the front camber maxed out (pins removed), the top edges of the front rims would stick out 5-6mm past the fender. But, with 245/35/19 tires, the tread would stay within in the fender. You *might* get minor rubbing on the inboard fender liner, but only at full steering lock.

The rears would be about the same, with 275/30/19 tires. Rims would poke about 5-6mm but the tread would tuck in the fender.

Camber plates would be ideal, but I don't think they're absolutely necessary.

The Avant Garde M359 wheels will look great on the Z4M Coupe/Roadster. They are available in the 19x9.0 ET35 / 19x10 ET25 in Matte Black or Hyper Silver for you guys to choose from. Here are a few installed pictures for you to check out!!!

Those Mod bargain wheels look so close to the originals but my only worry is weight. Does anyone know the weight of these wheels compared to the oem 359's? I don't want my car to feel like I have anchors bolted to each corner.

The Avant Garde wheels do look very good. Fronts are 25.7lbs and the rears are around 27lbs. The OEM 359s are 25.5lbs front and 28lbs rear. So pretty much same weights and same look for half the price of OEM rims.

I wonder if OEM center caps fit.

Probably not on the OEM center caps. Avant Garde DOES provide aluminum roundel stickers that fit over their center caps to look factory on other wheels (specifcally the M310s I got). Maybe they would do the same on these?

Forgestar F14's look almost identical and are much lighter by comparison. I'd never run anything over 21lbs (aftermarket)

Whats the offset and size? E92 M3 wheels fit fine on the Z4M. Thats old news. My thread too. lol In those pics I have a 1 inch drop front and rear and no rubbing. With pins out with full suspension you probably wont rub either. I ran 18x9 +22 fronts and never rubbed on my E46 M3 or Z4M.
