BMW USB OBD SET Cable Ediabas for 2008?
Most of these ads say they work on BMWs through 2007. I want to reprogram locks and alarm on my 08 Z4M. I am not aware of any real changes in teh last year of the E85 but before I order, I thought I would throw this out:

Easy DIS v44 will allow coding. I also ended up using the BMW diagnostic head emulator software (available for download, just look), but I was using SSS/Program v57. This package looks good.
The investment is well work it. I've used the program to activate my alarm and do some of the car/key/memory coding. Easily paid for itself in one session.

I'm pretty sure v44 only covers through 2006....I believe you need a higher version to get 2007-2008s.

Well I'm going to give it a try. The price is right....And there are several places to get other versions of the software on the web if the included ones dont work. I'll let everyone know how it works out in a few weeks when it arrives...

The only real barrier to doing the coding is the cable and the software setup. If you aren't technical, the software setup can be a challenge.
I've read several posts of people using v44 since it still included coding on newer cars. As mentions v57 is available if needed.
