I have more in my collection than anything else. Morning drive? Nothing beats Handel. Right after sunset? Wagner.

I listen to a whole bunch of different stuff spanning the 1940s (Big Band, Sinatra, Billie Holiday) to now (Radiohead, Maroon 5).
I thought you Georgians down there would be drivin' around barefoot and listening to CCR all day! I guess I got at least half of it right (f-n-i). My favourite video game right now is Burnout 3: Takedown (stole my name) on PS2 which has the best soundtrack. It's a very fast-paced racing game where you have to knock your opponents off the road or into oncoming traffic to get ahead of them. I've made an mp3 CD out of it. The music on there kinda pushes you to drive faster and more aggressively though.... |

Alanl, you named two of my most listened to artists in the Z, Bela Fleck, and Bonnie Raitt. Awesome.
My musical tastes are pretty damned eclectic. Rick, as far as techno, Yello's "OOOhhh Yeeaahh" is Bluesie's theme song. But the one song I have hit replay on most often in the Z is Sonia Dada's version of the old Sly and F.S. song, "Higher". (Off their Lay down and love it, Live" album). It has the most unbelievable groove. I DARE you to not suddenly notice you are going 10 mph faster than you intended to with that cut smoking. Other than that, I listen to everything from Bluegrass to Blues, Classic rock to calssical Mozart, funk to country. The disc in the CD at the moment is JJ Cale - Eric Clapton. |
