If this statement is correct, you can find the real color in the engine bay on the drivers side near the hinge. There is a plate with the color and number. FYI

Thanks very much.
I got to go back in to sign the papers, I'm still waiting for the title to come in. The other dilemma I have is, they also will get a lease return in within the next 3 weeks I think. Its a 2007 Z4M black on Black, Now I don't know what they want for it...I assume around 37k without CPO and 40k CPO. The power difference to the one I have right now is minimal and I like the automatic. On the other hand, there are not many Z4M around in total in the USA. I have no Idea how many 3.0si there are but would think more than M models.

the 3.0si is absloutely no slouch; its a fierce performer as this review will attest to:
http://www.auto123.com/en/bmw/z4/200...00&artid=90628 Most agree that the 3.0si is the better choice as a daily driver. As I understand it, the 3.0si has a flatter power band and makes lots of torque at low rpms. You have to wind up the M to really bring out its power. But while I haven't driven an M, I think you will find that the power difference going to the M is significant. If power and ultimate performance is what you are after, you may want to consider the M. Cheers!

I think I will stay with the 3.0si I actually use it as my daily driver untill winter time and the Power is plenty enough. I had an M before and I just did not like the shifting in stop and Go traffic every day.
The price is also about 10k lower than the Z4m and insurance makes a $ 30.00 difference per month too.

If it's an '07, it's either silver gray (A08) or stratus gray. Silver gray is really light so one'd almost mistaken it for titanium silver depending on the lighting, while stratus gray is much darker and has a bit of pink/purple hue.

I really like it, a lot easier to keep clean than a black colored car.

They're OEM BMW wheels, but just not a super common set.
Think 108 is the style code.
